 In conjunction with the AAA Foundation for Traffic Safety study on truck/car crashes, AAA relaunched its nationwide campaign to educate drivers about ways to reduce crashes involving cars and trucks.
Each year more than 5,000 people are killed and 140,000 injured in car/truck crashes on the nation's highways. This association-wide initiative offers practical advice to car and truck drivers in the "Share with Care: Sharing the Road Safely" brochure available through most AAA offices.
AAA is committed to working with federal, state and local government agencies, the trucking industry and safety organizations to promote safe driving practices and reduce crash and fatality rates for all modes of transportation.
