AAA's traffic safety experts have created two refresher courses for licensed drivers who need:
- Additional certification for job-related duties.
- Traffic Violation point reductions.
- Insurance premium discounts.
The programs provide practical guidance for preventing traffic crashes and are proven to be effective in reducing traffic fatalities and collisions. Two programs are offered:
- Managing Visibility, Time and Space - Designed for all drivers wishing to improve their knowledge and understanding of driving and risk management/collision avoidance skills.
- Safe Driving for Mature Operators - Addresses the specific needs of drivers age 55 and older. The program is designed to improve everyday driving skills and knowledge as it relates to the effects of aging. More tips from AAA on mature driving ...
AAA's Driver Improvement Program is recognized in most states for insurance premium reductions and/or violator point reductions. The program is used by the U.S. military, state and local law enforcement agencies, local governmental agencies and private fleet operators.
